Do you love engaging with people about Freeport History? The FHS exhibits are visited by many people each year. As a docent, your job would be to greet visitors and walk them through our exhibits, sharing your passion for the town's history. Our Collections & Education Manager, Audrey Wolfe, will “show you the ropes” and teach you how to handle and deal with historic collection items.

Research:
We have opportunities to advance our understanding of Freeport’s history through research in our collection and other online archives.

Digitizing and Transcribing:

FHS has many documents and photos which need to be scanned and uploaded in a digital format. Others need to be transcribed into a digital document.
