The Land We Live On is an ongoing collaboration between Freeport Historical Society and local partner organizations dedicated to arts and culture, environmental protection, and racial equity and inclusion to re-examine our relationship to the first inhabitants of the land we call Freeport and their living Wabanaki descendants.
Programs offered to the public in October and November of 2023 hosted by these partners will prompt audiences to understand and reimagine our past and present connections to Wabanaki culture and communities and the land we share.
There are many ways you can support FHS – become a member, donate, or volunteer. Your support makes our work possible.
