Members and friends of FHS are invited to take a first look and taste of our long awaited neighborhood oyster bar inside our beautifully updated carriage house, featuring farm-fresh oysters from Freeport waters, as well as other select menu items and beverages.

Meet owners Ken Sparta and Thomas Henninger and learn some of the history of what makes oysters so important to Maine and other parts of the world, as well as what’s in store when the Maine Oyster Festival comes to town later this month.

Space is limited, so please sign up early to attend. Your ticket includes food and beverages. All proceeds go to Freeport Historical Society.
